FSSAI issued guidelines over the Bird Flu Virus

The bird flu is spreading rapidly in Delhi, Mumbai, and other parts of India, This is very bad news for the foodies who like eggs and chicken-related dishes. A strict warning is issued by the Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) for this flue, The FSSAI announced that during this flu people do not have to eat half-boiled eggs and also chicken dishes, This dishes can be the reason for flu that's why FSSAI prohibit this all thing. The food safety body of government says that there is no need to worry about this avian influenza virus. The government also says for food business to implement the clean and healthy procedure in your business and also take care of the poultry farms of chickens and poultry meats.

According to WHO, there is no official data that says the virus is transferred to the human body through the cooked food even if the bird had a virus before cooking. FSSAI says that there is no need to fear regarding this virus, the product should be prepared with a hygienic procedure acquiring these rules there is no worry about the flu. The WHO says that the flu is destroyed at a high temperature ranging from 0.28 to 0.5 at 70oC or 73.9oC. The FSSAI also says that proper cooking at 74oC will deactivate the virus or flu from the chicken or eggs.
 
FSSAI announced the list of Do And Don'ts for stopping the bird flu and avian flu in India and that are mentioned below:-
 
  • The FSSAI Says that do not eat half-boiled eggs.
  • Do not try to eat undercooked chicken that boiled half, To kill this virus, you should have to cook chicken at 70oC and well prepared boiled chicken or egg.
  • FSSAI says to avoid direct contact with the bird that will infect you and avoid wandering in the infected areas.
  • Do not touch the dead bird with a bare hand also wear the proper mask.
  • Don't keep a row of meat and chicken in open, always keep it safe.
  • Avoid contact with raw meat that will be hazardous for you.
  • FSSAI says always use the mask and gloves while you are in contact with raw meat and chicken.
  • Always wash your hands and sanitize them properly when you coming from outside.
  • Maintain the cleanliness in meat shops and also the kitchens and poultry farms.
  • Eat eggs and chicken and the other related product after the proper cooking.
 
According to the WHO, this virus spread very fastly in Kerala, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, and also Punjab. WHO Says this bird flu spread because of the migrating birds that coming in the winter from another state or another country.
