supplier. Now suppose our customer has given us any work. And if we need
anything in that work, we will go to our supplier. So the supplier will give us
whatever we need to request so in a way , if seen in an indirect way, the
supplier is also fulfilling the
customer’s requirement and our also.
Now we will check that the supply which is or is
not fulfilling our requirements properly. All this explains clause 8.4.1 Now whatever supply is
coming from the supplier , we just have to choose now how the supplier is the
right supplier. Now we have to develop the supplier to select it. We have to
select some criteria for that like - quality, location, cost and reputation
etc. and we will select the supplier keeping these things in the middle. If our
supplier has to fulfill all this criterion, then we can select our supplier in
this way. Now when we have selected our supplier, after that we must also
monitor it. We also have to check him from time to time that his performance
was like when we selected him. It is still the same. Is this a complete cycle. After
that, after monitoring it, if we revive it again, this cycle will continue to
operate in this manner and new suppliers will keep coming and old ones will go
in this way.
Difference
between monitoring and measuring:
Monitoring:
If you look at monitoring in simple language then
it means and to observe anything. And the value of monitoring is never fixed;
he is always fluctuating with respect to time. And we monitor any system or
process. And the parameters that are supposed to be monitored, these allow
fluctuation with respect to time.
Measuring:
The true meaning of a measure is to find out the
value of anything or any object, instrument and equipment etc. There is never a
value change in measuring, its value is always fixed. And this is a product-based
