animal breeding, and establishment. Now, the Nehru Zoological Park is
one of the largest parks in India.
It was
established in the year 1959 but it was made open for the public on the 6th of
October 1963. The Zoo has more than 1500 species of birds, reptiles, and mammals.

ASCB (Accreditation Service for Certifying Bodies) has awarded the ISO Certification
to the Nehru Zoological Park (NZP).

that has inspected Nehru Zoological Park consists of T Sundar Ramaiah which is
a retired district judge, C. Madhu Babu which was an auditor, and
Sivaiah Alapati who was the Managing Director.
The team
that has conducted the inspection was happy to see the hard work of the people
at the Zoological Park. By seeing this, the team appreciated the working of the
whole staff.
Taking
responsibilities on the shoulders is a huge thing that matters and the whole
staff of the Nehru Zoological Park was taking their responsibilities and was
working efficiently. The Nehru Zoological Park (NZP) was inspected in a phased
manner by following all the ISO rules and regulations. The Nehru Zoological
Park (NZP) is also able to respond quickly to emergencies and tackles the
obstacles as soon as possible.
The Nehru
Zoological Park(NZP) was satisfying all the criteria of the ISO(International
Organization for Standardization) Quality Certification.
Sivaiah
Alapati who was
the managing director had presented the certificate to the Telangana Forest
Minister A Indra Karan Reddy. On the occasion of the award ceremony, the
minister appreciated all the staff with the principal chief conservator of
forests, director for the hard work and efforts that had blessed the ISO
Quality Certification to the park.
The Nehru
Zoological Park (NZP) is spread across 380 acres around Hyderabad. The animals
are kept in open enclosures which makes the Nehru Zoological Park (NZP) the
most amiable place for the visitors and inhabitants. The visitors can
experience a variety of Safari in the park such as Bison Safari, Lion Safari,
Bear Safari, and much more wildlife fun and it makes a great fun moment for the
visitors. And now the park has become a popular place for tourists.
